Xploring Minds

In July 2022,

Xploring Minds  donated over $.2,100 in books to CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) of Jefferson and Gilpin Counties.

"(CASA) Our mission is to recruit, train and manage volunteers who serve as independent lay advocates for children who are victims of neglect and physical and/or sexual abuse. Our hope is that all children will have a CASA volunteer as someone to pay attention, someone to give the child a voice, someone to care."

We are extraordinarily pleased to help in their efforts at making a difference in the lives of kids in need. Providing the volunteers the tools to work with is so important, and with the support of our community, we look forward to expanding our assistance.

We are very happy to announce our new educational initiative, Xploring Minds. This project encompasses the donation of new books to youth at schools and educational nonprofits. We have long understood the importance of having good books in the home, and of encouraging home educational practices. Especially in this time of school attendance deficits due to COVID-19, it has become exceedingly important not to abandon education for the youth.  When you are interested in helping in this effort, your valued contributions are welcome.

On April 23rd, 24th, and 27th we donated over $2,000.00 in books at North High School. Reverend Bradley Laurvick, DPS Board Member, met us there and said "Thank you, neighbors."

We have always given donations to non-profit organizations; however this time it was different-- we were giving donations directly to the families, and to see the children smile with great enthusiasm was incredibly gratifying.

With your help, we're making free new books available to children and families. Please, use the DONATE HERE button, or give us a call 303-908-7016,  email us at info@32ndavenuebooks.com to receive an invoice. Also if you want to order your favorite book to donate, please use our shopping cart and in Comments write the organization's name for your donation.
